Joyful habit

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

Cooking is something makes me feel joyful. I’m not one to create my own recipe but trying out different recipes from others is fun to me. I love learning about different ways to prepare foods and put them together. It feels great to experiment with different styles and cultures.

The kitchen can be a very therapeutic place when you need to get out any stress especially for me. Working with any food calms me from anything that seems to make me feel upset or irritated. From making pizza dough to sweets of any kind, being in a kitchen can make people like me so happy and is our own type of therapy.
